To carry our updates, you must first log in to your R-LINK Store account.
1. retrieving your vehicle’s SD card
- Get into your vehicle to retrieve the SD card for your system.
- From the main menu on your R-LINK Evolution screen, tap “System” then “Remove SD card” to eject the SD card safely.
- The SD card is located next to the USB port in your vehicle. To remove the SD card, press in and release the card. The card will be ejected by a few millimetres. Pull on the card to remove it fully.
2. access the update from your R-LINK Store on your computer
- To carry out updates, you must first log in to your R-LINK Store account. (If you don’t yet have an account, you can create one in just a few clicks).
- If you haven’t done so already, be sure to add your vehicle to your R-LINK Store account by clicking on “Add a vehicle”. Your vehicle will then appear in your R-LINK Store account.
- Under the image of your vehicle, click on “Access all my services” to access your virtual garage.
- Click on the R-LINK Store icon.
- From the R-LINK Store, click on the update menu. The updates available for your vehicle will be displayed.
3. downloading updates to your SD card
- Select the available updates, then click “Update”.
- Insert the SD card into your computer and open the R-LINK Toolbox application.
- Launch the downloads. Do not remove the SD card during the download.
- Once the download is complete, safely remove your SD card from your computer.
4. updating the vehicle
- Return to your vehicle with the SD card, start the engine, and insert the SD card. The update will be displayed on the screen. Tap OK to launch the process. Depending on the size of the map, this may take several minutes.
- Do not turn off the engine during the operation, and do not use your R-LINK Evolution system. You can begin driving, however. Navigation will become available as soon as the update is complete.
- A message will appear on the screen to confirm that the installation is complete. Wait until this message is displayed. You can now access the updated system.
